Our brand new family-run cattery opens in May 2009, and bookings are now being taken. It is situated in Titchfield, on the outskirts of Fareham in Hampshire, and is a few minutes from M27 Junction 9 (Whiteley) - central to the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton.
The cattery consists of 10 double penthouse-style uPVC pens, purpose-built to meet Fareham Borough Council's Licensing standards.
Your cat will receive the highest level of care and attention, with quality accommodation and service, in a lovely garden environment which attracts plenty of interesting wildlife. As we live on site, you can be reassured that your pet will have the security of round-the-clock supervision.
You are invited to view the cattery to appreciate our facilities for yourself, by contacting us for an appointment.
Accommodation
Our Penthouse pens are more than large enough to comfortably accommodate one or two cats. The pens have covered outdoor runs with tiled flooring and pleasant garden views.
The raised sleeping areas are insulated, and fully heated in the colder months, and can be opened up in the summer. There is a double-glazed viewing window to one side of the sleeping area, with a solid door to the other which provides some privacy for your cat. Access to the sleeping area is by means of a staircase.
Cosy bedding, scratching posts and toys are provided, but guests are welcome to bring their own, especially if it will help make their stay more comfortable and relaxing.
Some adjoining pens have removable panels, enabling large family accommodation to be created for up to five cats from the same household.
Unlike wooden cattery buildings, materials used in the construction of our cattery are hygienic, hardwearing, and non-flammable.
Feeding
We will serve your cat's specified food twice a day at regular times - or according to individual requirements. Dry food will be available to cats throughout the day and night for snacking, unless you advise otherwise.
Water is replenished throughout the day as required.
Treats will be offered to cats during the day (if allowed), as it helps with the process of us befriending your cat and gaining its trust.
Guests are welcome to bring their own treats or special food, and we will make sure that your cat receives these as you wish.
Cats on prescription diets will need to bring an adequate supply of their food with them.
