Castle Gardens Cattery is situated on the Perthshire estate of Murthly and Strathbraan and has been in business since 2001.
The cattery is quite small, which enables us to become familiar with each of our guest cats' own particular likes, dislikes and even their little peculiarities. There are some real characters we love to see year after year.
The cattery has been professionally, purpose-built to Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB) specifications. FAB is a national charitable organisation dedicated to the improvement of the well being of cats and, as such, lays down stringent requirements necessary to achieve the best possible environment in which to board cats.
While your pet is with us they will be fed their own individual diet as required to cause as little upset as possible.
Medication can be administered as necessary at no extra charge.

CASTLE GARDENS CATTERY is situated on the Perthshire country estate of Murthly and Strathbraan, 15 miles north of Perth. We are approximately 3 miles from Dunkeld, 3.5 miles from Bankfoot and 5 minutes from the A9.
Approaching from the north along the A9: take the B867 (Dunkeld to Bankfoot), then the first left, signposted for Murthly. We are approximately a mile along this, the Pitternsorn Road.
Approaching from Perth along the A9: take the turn off for Bankfoot. Continue through the village on the B867. Approximately 2 miles later you will pass a small loch on your left hand side. Take the next right, signposted for Murthly. We are approximately a mile along this, the Pitternsorn Road.
Opening Times: We can arrange for the collection and return of pets if needed, for a fee depending on distance.
Drop off and collection of cats daily:
11.00am - 1.00pm 4.00pm -6.00 pm.
Outwith these hours by arrangement if necessary.
In keeping with professional boarding kennel practice, and to give us time to prepare our kennels for new arrivals, our guests are required to check out before 1.00pm on the day of departure.
Unless previously arranged, a full day's boarding will be charged should check out be later than 1.00pm
Pricing: 1 cat occupying a standard chalet: £5.80 per day.
2 cats from the same household sharing a standard chalet: £5.00 each cat per day.
3/4 cats from the same household sharing the family chalet: £3.75 each cat per day.
All prices include breakfast and supper, with cat biscuits available at all times, if desired.
