Furballs is a Hampshire Cattery offering a very personal service.
We receive a high level of advanced bookings, therefore if you have specific requirements for your cats please remember to book early in order for us to allocate your space and guarantee your booking.
Sarah, the Furballs Cattery Manager has over 20 years experience of cats and cat welfare management.
Also during this time she has worked alongside and for a number of the leading Animal Welfare Organisations, including Cats Protection and the RSPCA.
Given that over the years she has cared for in excess of 10,000 cats, you can rest assured your cat(s) will be professionally cared for.
One of the things you will first notice about Furballs Cattery is the amount of space the cats have.
All pens at Furballs Cattery have large runs that are spacious.
In the 'cabin' area they have various beds to choose from, nice and cosy with heat pads, heat lamps/radiator.
A separate area for litter trays is provided, along with plenty of space for their food and water.
There is also plenty of room for toys and scratching posts.
For the "old & infirm" we can organise accommodation all on one raised level.
No jumping up and down to litter trays, sleep or feed areas. All have a big window-seat to sunbathe, snooze, and watch the cows go by!!
We can also accommodate the frightened, shy or 'anti social' cat, who finds the whole boarding cattery experience overwhelming, and prefer to 'tuck' themselves away and pretend 'not to be there' in our "hidey-hole" pen
All of our cabin/bedroom areas at Furballs Cattery have heat pads slotted underneath a cosy sheepskin, in addition to a heat lamp above the beds.
They also have various sleeping levels with different beds, boxes, blankets and sheepskins to avoid 'arguments'.
We are happy for you to bring all of your own bedding if you would like.
Some cats arrive with just a sweater or t-shirt 'on loan' from a family member.
Some come with the whole bed, posh blankets, and even sleeping bags. In fact some arrive with so much luggage it takes two or three trips backwards and forwards to the car to unload.
As long as we can physically fit it all in we don't mind what you bring.
However, if something has to be put into our washer due to the odd fur ball or 'accident' we cannot guarantee that its shape, colour or size will be the same!

Furballs Cattery is a Hampshire cattery and is easy to get to from all directions, Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Fareham, Wickham are all on the doorstep whilst Petersfield is just 20 minutes away.
Full directions will be given. We have not had anybody get lost -so far!
